Bali government asked to improve transport options to airport

It supposedly has some of the fastest airport wifi in the world (so they say), but Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport definitely can’t rank for smooth traffic and public transportation options.

To try and put a damper on nonstop congestion and parking lots that are overcapacity, Indonesia’s airport authority Angkasa Pura I has asked the Department of Transportation and Bali’s provincial government to get some public transport running that connects to the international airport, according to Tribun Bali

Yes’um there are literally enough people to fill buses that could use a ride to and fro the airport instead of clogging up our roads with their taxis and private cars.

When contacted by Tribun Bali, general co-manager of Ngurah Rai Airport, I Gusti Ngurah Ardita, said the airport has already done a review and calculation of the transport needs and the  estimated times.
