Bali crime evidence from 2015 destroyed, including counterfeit cash, illegal drugs and alcohol, and other fun stuff

The district attorney’s office in Negara, Bali destroyed hundreds of pieces of crime scene evidence from 2015 earlier this morning.

Negara officials could be seen lighting up and destroying counterfeit currency (as much as 1,500 sheets), 100 kilograms of manta ray gills, illegal alcoholic beverages, drugs (much of it meth), counterfeit cosmetics, and other types of material evidence.

Apparently counterfeit cash was an especial nuisance in 2015 for Jembrana regency.

“The circulation of counterfeit money has been disturbing residents. Forgers have been clever, making fake currency that is so similar to the real thing. Today, we destroy it all,” head of the district attorney’s office, Anton Delianto said in speech this morning, as quoted by Tribun Bali
