One of the Bali bombers’ sons has reportedly left to Indonesia to join ISIS.
Guess the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree adage does hold true sometimes.
The eldest son of 2002 Bali bombing mastermind Imam Samudra is taking up jihad, says counter-terrorism expert Al Chaidar, the Australian reported this weekend.
The deadly Bali attack that killed 202 people later saw Samudra executed in 2008.
Samudra’s son, Umar Jundul Haq, alias Uncu, reportedly joined ISIS in Syria about 18 months ago.
The 19-year-old reportedly went from Indonesia to Syria but intelligence on him as been quiet since his departure, according to reports.
