Bali airport plans to up security with CCTVs in all parking areas

Denpasar’s Ngurah Rai International Airport is apparently tired of receiving reports of theft in the parking area so it’s going to install more CCTVs.

In anticipation of people stealing helmets, bags, and box motor (motorbike storage cases), CCTV will be put in all parking areas, Assistant Manager of Advertising and Land Service Pramudyo told Tribun Bali.

Pramudyo explained to Tribun on Wednesday that the installation call also keep a database of vehicles that go in and out of the parking garage, recording the license plate numbers as well.

These security measures come after a journalist working for Metro TV had the contents of his box motor emptied in June when he was inside the airport having lunch.
