‘Bali 9’ prisoner transferred out of Kerobokan after he was allegedly found with ‘ice’

As we inch closer to the one-year anniversary (April 29) of the execution of Bali Nine “ringleaders” Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan, another member of the convicted Australian drug group has made the news.

Bali Nine member Micahel Czugaj was reportedly transferred from Kerobokan Prison to a jail in East Java on Wednesday after he was allegedly found with drugs.

Apparently the notorious “Hotel K” is not the most conducive environment for avoiding sabu-sabu.

Czugaj was just 19 when he was arrested at Denpasar Airport in April 2005, with heroine strapped to his body, which he ended up getting life imprisonment for.

The Head of Bali Corrections Division Nyoman Putra Surya said that the Australian was transferred to Java after he was allegedly found holding less than a gram of meth inside Kerobokan Prison, according to AAP
