A baby was safely delivered aboard a flight from Jakarta to Bali on Saturday morning.
Nurul Saimah, 28, a passenger, started going into labor on the two-hour Batik Air flight.
With some assistance from other passengers and cabin crew, Saimah gave birth just 23 minutes before landing at Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport, reports Antara.
Upon arriving in Bali around 9:05am, the woman was evacuated to the nearest hospital, Kasih Ibu in Kedonanan for further medical care, said Bali airport spokesman, Arie Ahsanurrohim.
