Villagers in Kaliasem, Buleleng mourned the death on Friday of a little baby who died from health complications.
The baby was sadly born without a cranium on Thursday, which shocked parents Wayan Astrawan and Komang Juliani, as they had apparently been regularly checking in with a midwife.
Before the birth, there was always a routine check for the baby and the midwife had said the condition was normal, but at the last check-up, the midwife just said that the head was smaller than normal, a source close to the couple told Tribun Bali.
Apparently the baby was immediately rushed to Buleleng Public Hospital shortly after both, but even after treatment could not survive much longer and passed away on Friday at midnight.
Juliani is said to be still undergoing treatment a health center and is unsurprisingly in a state of shock. Poor thing.
