A woman apparently brought her baby in for treatment and then left it at Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar, for reasons unknown.
The baby was reportedly abandoned four days ago.
A Sanglah Hospital representative said the name of the baby’s mother is Ketut Ayu Suryantini of Banjar Kelod, Melaya Village, Negara.
“We were told the baby’s mother came to Sanglah Hospital to accompany her daughter,” a Sanglah spokesperson told Tribun Bali on Wednesday.
Before disappearing, Suryantini did not give a message to nurses or give any further information about how to contact her.
Of course we don’t yet know whole the story behind the mother’s sudden departure from the hospital, but no matter how we look at it, it seems to be a grim story since either she truly ditched her baby or something bad happened to her.
