An Australian man who was allegedly caught smoking a joint on a Bali beach is now in reportedly in custody, along with a 25-year-old Indonesian man.
The Australian is only identified by his initials NL. The Indonesian man, identified as HPH, is now reportedly in custody along with NL at the North Kuta police station.
The alleged joint smokers were around Canggu’s Batu Bolong Beach early this morning, probably out celebrating Australia Day, when they were nabbed, reports news.com.AU.
“We have seized one used-marijuana joint and one small pack of marijuana,” said North Kuta police chief Ronny Riantoko Eppang, as quoted by news.com.AU.
“At around 00.30am, in Batu Bolong beach, two people have been nabbed consuming a marijuana joint by security. The security reported to the North Kuta Police. After searching, police found one used marijuana joint and one small pack of marijuana that had been dumped by HPH,” Eppang explained.
Urine and blood tests are being conducted for both alleged drug offenders, says Eppang.
