A New Zealand-born “bikie enforcer” from Australia’s notorious Finks biker gang was barred from entering Bali last week.
Jesse Johnston, who goes by the name “Alphonse Fink” on social media, was denied entry by Indonesian immigration upon landing in Bali on Nov. 13 because of his gang affiliation and then deported to Australia, where he was also blocked from entering.
After getting deported from two countries on the same day, Johnston finally ended up going back home to his native New Zealand.
Though he’s just 22 years old, Johnston allegedly holds the high ranking of “sergeant-at-arms” in the Newcastle chapter of the much-feared Australian gang.
Johnston denied to authorities in Australia any affiliation with Finks, but a search found clothing with the gang’s emblem in his bag and “Alphonse Fink” has since posted a photo to social media with the caption: “I love all my brothers Fink pride worldwide.”
Police in Australia had been made aware that Finks members had planned to arrive en masse in Indonesia, where the gang already has a local chapter.
Members had a hard time meeting in Australia with the country’s strict anti-consorting laws, so they thought Bali could serve an alternative meeting point, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
But Indonesian immigration has proven itself aware of the Finks.
The president of the club, “Kosh Radford,” was denied entry into Bali himself back on Nov. 8, where he, his child, wife, and mother-in-low were turned back to Australia after landing at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport.
