Bomb scare at KFC in West Bali, local police confirm

The latest in a string of terror scares in Bali is breaking reports of a bomb threat at a KFC restaurant in Jembrana, Bali on Tuesday. 

According to local newspaper Tribun Bali, the KFC is the one located on Jl. Ngurah Rai, Negara. 

Jembrana Police Chief Superintendent Djoni Widodo confirmed with local media that police received a report of a bomb threat, after a blue suitcase was left inside the fast food restaurant. 

“We received a report around 11 am earlier, from a KFC employee. He said that some person left a suspicious bag there from 8 am until 11 am, and has not come back,” Widodo explained, as quoted by Tribun Bali. 

“After that, the area was directly sterilized. Now we ware still waiting for Gilimanuk Brimob unit to follow up with appropriate procedures,” he added.
