After getting detained by Indonesian authorities at the beginning of this month, the New Zealand man accused of trafficking 1.7 kilograms of meth into Bali is finally supposed to meet his lawyer.
Craig Tuck, a high profile human rights lawyer was just reportedly flown in to represent kiwi Antony de Malmanche, according to New Zealand’s ONE News.
Tuck, who has been vocally critical about how Indonesian authorities have handled the case, is expected to meet the 52-year-old man tomorrow.

Based on the Givealittle page set up by de Malmanche’s family to pay for legal fees and “clear his name,” as of writing, an impressive $10,525 have been raised for him, collected from 172 donors.

De Malmanche reportedly went to the hospital this morning, of course accompanied by guards, and told the media every part of his body felt sore, reports ONE News.
The kiwi could get the death penalty if he is convicted.
