South Bali has been hit with bouts of coastal flooding in the past week as high tides and a killer swell set in.
Crazy videos and photos documenting the banjir and violent waves have been spreading around the Bali social media sphere. Here are some of our faves:

While these images and videos are all in good fun, do remember that these waves can be super strong and dangerous. Two tourists were killed in Sanur on Thursday afternoon after getting dragged into the water.
And according to an environmental expert interviewed by news agency Antara Bali, we might have to get used to this sort of flooding. We could be experiencing coastal flooding in the south until September, Antara’s source said.
