As police are cracking down on so-called “social disease,” a big prostitution bust will reportedly have 52 alleged prostitutes facing court in Denpasar.
The commercial sex workers were netted in an operation on Jl. Gunung Lawu, Kuta on Thursday night, reports Sindo News.
This part of a 100 day program to eradicate “social disease” in Bali, I Wayan Sarjana of Denpasar police told Sindo.
Processing for the 52 women in question will be swift, as they were expected to be tried in Denpasar District Court Today, reports say.
