An earthquake recorded at a magnitude of 4.1 reportedly shook northwest Bali on Thursday.
The earthquake hit Jembrana, Bali at 7:04 pm with the epicenter located 10 kilometers under the sea, reports Tribun Bali.
The seismic event was on firmed by the Head of the Body of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) Rakhmat Prasetyo, who is stationed in Negara, Jembrana.
“The point of the earthquake was 32 kilometers northwest of Jembrana, Bali. The earthquake was felt in the territory and Banyuwangi (East Java) and surrounding areas,” Prasetyo said, as quoted by Tribun.
Reports did not mention any injuries or deaths.
