Four Dutch citizens have reportedly been blocked from traveling abroad because of their involvement in the violent Satu Darah biker group clash at a Kuta nightclub on Monday.
Police are coordinating with Ngurah Rai International Airport Immigration in order to keep watch for the four Dutch nationals—whose names have not yet been disclosed by police since they are still to be examined as witnesses.
“We’re coordinating with Immigration and the airport to be on the watch for these witnesses,” Denpasar Police Chief Hadi Purnomo told reporters on Tuesday evening.
However, a Bali immigration official told Tribun Bali that it’s plausible that the four Dutch nationals could have fled the island via the port of Gilimanuk in western Bali. Law enforcement has checked the hotel were the four were staying, but the four Dutch residents haven’t returned.
“They could have escaped through Gilimanuk,” immigration official Prastito told Tribun Bali on Wednesday.
“It’s possible that they left through Gilimanuk then went abroad through Cengkareng (Jakarta),” Prastito said.
Two people (one Dutch biker and one Indonesian security guard) are still reportedly undergoing intensive treatment for injuries suffered on Monday at Pyramid nightclub when a gathering of members from the international biker group Satu Darah turned violent.
