Criminal Police raided a ruko in Legian on Saturday afternoon after allegations that the shop was being used for drug distribution.
Police made three arrests, among them was Putu Leong, a man suspected of drug dealing at the shop, located on Jl. Dewi Sri Blok C4.
But before police made the arrests, they reportedly fired a warning shot twice during the raid—no doubt the most exciting part of it all.
“From there, the perp was directly brought into the shop and searched. From the results of the raid, three people were secured. One of them is Putu Leong (42) from Karangasem,” one officer who declined to be named said on Sunday, as quoted by Okezone.
The case is currently being transferred to Bali Police for further investigation, the officer added.
