President Joko Widodo’s reportedly getting ready to make another trip to Bali to open up the President’s Cup football championship on August 30.
His security won’t be taken lightly, as 2,5000 joint personnel will be deployed to guard the event at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Gianyar. These arrangements were announced by Deputy Chief of Bali Police Nyoman Suryasta in Renon on Thursday, according to Kompas.
Police will put out about 1,000 personnel while the military will deliver 1,500 personnel for the event, Suryasta explained.
The local neighborhood watch, the pecalang, will also be giving their assistance for the event.
