In 2016 alone, over 3 million tourists have visited Bali’s Tanah Lot temple

Tanah Lot is known for being among Bali’s most sacred temples—and as being one of its most crowded.

Try going to Tanah Lot at sunset and you’ll see what we mean.

A whopping 3.21 million tourists are reportedly on record as having visited the temple in Tabanan, Bali so far in 2016.

That’s compared to just 3.18 million tourists who visited the temple in all of 2015.

“Through the end of the year, we expect the number to go up much higher,” Tanah Lot destination manager I Ketut Toya Adnyana said on Monday, as quoted by Bisnis.com
