A tragic collision over the weekend on the road from Denpasar to Gilimanuk reportedly left two motorists dead.
Iwan Budiarto, 33, had been driving a Honda Supra with Warris, 44, riding as his passenger on Saturday night around 10 pm when both men from Jember, East Java succumbed to injuries from a road accident, reports Denpost.
Apparently, Budiarto had tried to pass a truck when he collided head on with another truck driving in the opposite direction, that was driven by a man identified as Ismail, 28, from Mojokerto, according to Denpost.
Both motorbike driver and passenger were flung from the motorbike during the collision an suffered fatal injuries at the scene, which was later confirmed by autopsy, reports say.
