Two meth dealers were arrested by police in Buleleng, North Bali on Sunday.
The dealers turned out to be pretty senior—not necessarily in the amount of experience they have dealing but in their age. The two men were identified in a Tribun Bali report as 60-year-old ‘Cen’ and 38-year-old Putu Selamat Riyadi.
Head of Buleleng Police’s narcotics investigation unit Made Agus Dwi Wirawan says he went to one of the dealers’ houses when he got a tip there was an older man selling meth there.
Police reportedly found 17 packets of meth in Cen’s house, that weighted between 0.8 to 0.10 grams each, wrapped in plastic.
In addition to the meth itself, police also confiscated a cell phone, bong, gas lighter, pair of scissors, light blue box, and Rp 700,000 cash. The money was of course recognized as cash proceeds from the meth—convenient anyway for the police, no?
The men are subject to charges that could land them 20 years behind bars, according to Tribun.
