Denpasar Police criminal investigators raided a spa on Tuesday that they suspect has been doubling as a site of prostitution.
The parlor, Blue Massage on Jl. Gelogor Carik, has apparently been on police’s radar for awhile, for allegedly running prostitution practices. Police say they were tipped off by the public.
The parlor’s manager was arrested, along with five employees, all to undergo examination during the Tuesday raid.
Police Criminal Unit Chief Reinhard Habonaran Nainggolan told Tribun Bali that they made the arrests because the parlor allegedly does not have an operating license and it’s possible they have other branches operating in Denpasar.
Evidence secured from the scene includes two large boxes of condoms, lubricant, a list of therapy prices, brochures, among other items, according to reports.
