Two Belarusian nationals have been deported from Indonesia after authorities ruled that they violated the country’s immigration laws by producing and promoting bath products in Bali’s Karangasem regency.

The foreigners, who immigration officials have identified as VK and SB, are a married couple who arrived in Bali last February, along with their two children. Though their stay permits are still valid until Jan. 31, authorities say they were deported for violating the purpose of their visa.

“Based on reports from members of the public, the two are indicated to have produced, promoted and marketed bath products,” Head of the Bali office for the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Jamaruli Manihuruk, said in a statement.

VK and SB reportedly started producing the goods in August, and have been selling the items, such as soap, toothpaste, and shampoo, online.

The family was deported from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta last night, with a Turkish Airlines flight headed to Minsk.
