Police say they are still searching for a third victim in a tragic motorbike accident that occurred last night in Gianyar regency, which claimed the life of an elderly woman and injured a young boy.
The missing victim, identified as 37-year-old KAA, was driving her motorbike with her child and mother, who were seated behind her. She was going downhill on a turning road, which was reportedly damaged and unlit, when she lost control of her vehicle and drove it over a nearby cliff.
According to reports, the accident took place far from residential areas and that the family had been traveling in the middle of the rain.
Authorities have managed to locate the body of KAA’s mother, who was identified as 55-year-old NKR. Meanwhile, KAA’s 9-year-old son, identified as PKR, miraculously survived the accident and is undergoing treatment at a local hospital. A search for KAA is still ongoing at the time of publication.
