CANGGU

Canggu is the hippest hood in Bali—as in the hipsters are taking over! Dotted with cafes, boutiques, and galleries, there’s something new popping up on every corner on a daily basis as development spreads northwards from Kuta and Seminyak. Gorgeous rice paddies and a famous intermediate-friendly surf break has made the town a settlement for expats seeking new beginnings and a slower pace of life. The Gu’s got that surf town vibe but is also becoming a destination for coworking-space-loving digital nomads and entrepreneurs, as well as for hippie (or should we say gypsy?), yoga-loving vegans.
