Shot in Ubud and set to the tune of the Beatles’ “Drive My Car,” a music video about a man who simply does not want to shave his beard has us hooked.
Ubudian Johny Freesh sings that if he were to shave his beard (which is quite thick as you can see by the video) he might as well “put on a pair of granny panties” along with a host of other quippy lyrics rejoicing about beards.

His “Baby won’t you shave your beard” music video featuring Katie J. White was posted to YouTube on Tuesday and features some bearded legends as Gandalf, Santa, and a clip of Mr. T.
And other than the witty lyrics and riveting story line between him and his nagging girlfriend, we just love how scenes from Ubud can be recognized throughout the video.

Notice that the video is left open-ended with a beard-less Freesh and that “To be continued” label. We wonder if his beard will grow back and he will re-emerge in some sort of sequel to take back his girl from Gandalf, while singing about it of course.
