Ambar at Mandapa, a leading bar and dining establishment in Ubud, is set to introduce a breathtaking new look later this month following a temporary closure for renovations.

Meaning “sky” in Sanskrit, Ambar will unveil its new look on Nov. 27 as part of the expansion of its new outdoor wooden deck. The establishment promises to make the most of the magical delights of Ubud’s one-of-a-kind sunsets by introducing an open space with idyllic views of greenery from the surrounding forests and Mandapa village.

The establishment opens everyday from 2pm to 10pm. Handcrafted, unique cocktails and Japanese-Indonesian fusion cuisine are set to accompany guests’ golden hour moments.

“We recreated Ambar as a place with an inviting and elegant atmosphere to enjoy crafted aperitifs before dinner, or to lounge and relax whilst watching the golden sunset of Ubud with the soothing sound of live jazz music in the background,” said Masanori Hosoya, General Manager of Mandapa.

Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is one of Bali’s most luxurious retreats.

“We are thrilled to welcome guests at Ambar and taste the celebration of the flavors of Bali, paired with the finest Japanese-Indonesian fusion cuisine,” Hosoya added.
