American rock band Secondhand Serenade is set to headline 2023’s Thank God It’s Festival this March on the Island of Gods.
It seems that John Vesely, who is practically the heart and soul of Secondhand Serenade as the band’s vocalist, pianist, and guitarist (think Ahmad Dhani’s role in DEWA), loves Bali as he last performed on the tropical island in November 2022.
Univlox, the organizers of TGIF 2023, announced Secondhand Serenade as one of the headliners along with Indonesia’s Pamungkas. Univlox says it will reveal six more performers one by one on their Instagram (talk about suspense!).

That weekend will be a busy one for Vesely. As he mentioned on Instagram, the band has also been penciled in to headline EverBlast festival in Jakarta, which is scheduled for March 4 and 5 at Gambir Expo Kemayoran.
