Mermaid + Rubbish + Kuta Beach: Add Coconuts Bali’s limited edition wall art to your room decor

Across Coconuts cities, we have all kinds of weird and wondrous stories to share with the world. One that particularly epitomizes not only our overall editorial insight but also the very zest of our beloved Bali happened earlier this year in January, when a photo of a mermaid lying on a pile of rubbish on Kuta beach went viral.

So isn’t it only natural that the headline represents Bali on Coconuts’ limited edition wall art flags? Launched as part of our 10th anniversary this month, y’all can get the uber-cool merch right here.  Each Coconuts city wall art has its own unique design, and there are only 10 pieces for each design. You know what that means, don’t you? Gotta go get yours ASAP, people! Lest you miss out on this pretty cool addition to your pad.

And when we say epitome, we really mean it. A mermaid lying on rubbish-filled Kuta Beach is simply too iconic, a form of protest that’s simply too “Bali” for us to sleep on. The fact that it went viral is an added bonus that speaks to our region and the overall environmental issue.

The last decade has been kind of a wild ride here at Coconuts, and as you may have noticed, we’ve pretty much had all kinds of celebrations throughout September! We went down the memory lane to acknowledge the top 10 most unforgettable foreigner shenanigans here in Bali and also doing a massive giveaway to celebrate our 10th birthday, which you still have a chance of winning, by the way. If you’re keen on taking a look at some of our awesome milestones in the last 10 years, be sure to check it out here.

For our loyal readers, thank you for being part of our journey. We hope we’ve informed and made you laugh, and we’ll be sure to carry on doing this for the years and years to come. In the meantime, why not celebrate the decade we’ve had together with a Coconuts Bali wall art?
