M.I.A. joins Joyland as Bali festival finalizes lineup for March 17-19

British rapper M.I.A. was the final addition to the 2023 Joyland Festival Bali, which already boasted a very exciting and diverse lineup ahead of showtime on March 17 to 19.

M.I.A., who shot to fame thanks to her massive 2008 hit Paper Planes, is joining French new wave group Phoenix and Norwegian chanteuse Sigrid as Joyland’s three headliners.

Other confirmed acts include Black Country, New Road, Black Lips, and local stars Raisa and Barasuara.

You can check out Joyland’s three-day schedule in the post below. The festival, organized by Plainsong Live, will take place on Peninsula Island, Nusa Dua.

Joyland Festival debuted in Bali in March 2022, featuring 65 performers. The event attracted 15,000 visitors and became the first large-scale music festival in Indonesia since the onset of the pandemic.
