Waterbom Bali in Kuta made the top 10 of the “World’s Best Water Parks” in the 2018 TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards, sliding in at spot number two, only getting edged out by Siam park in Adeje, Spain.
Its “terrific water slides” and “gorgeous tropical gardens” earned it high praise from one TripAdvisor reviewer. Plus, it earned points for being “immaculately clean,” something we’re all wary of when looking at that public area water.
The fact that it also has a swim-up bar probably earned it extra kudos from reviewers bringing their kids to the park and looking for a boozy refresher.
Using what is no doubt a massive amount of water, the park claims on its website to be dedicated to environmental responsibility by having gone carbon neutral, working with the Bali Water Project as a fundraiser, implementing water saving initiatives, growing its gardens so more than half of the park is green space, and more.
According to TripAdvisor, these awards are based on an algorithm of a 12 month review that looks at quantity and quality of reviews for water parks around the globe.
