Put your thumb and index finger together and make the “finger heart” gesture, for South Korean actress/singer Jeon Hye-bin has tied the knot and held a private wedding ceremony right here in Bali.

After having announced earlier this month that she would marry her boyfriend, who remains unnamed, the 36-year-old shared on Instagram that she they finally married at a private ceremony in Bali on Saturday in front of their family members and close friends.

Jeon Hye-bin kept details about the event closely guarded, so it’s unclear exactly where in Bali the ceremony took place.

The caption of her post reads as follows, as translated by K-pop news outlet Soompi

Hello, this is Jeon Hye Bin.

This year has been so special for me. With many things going on, I met a person I love and am now making an eternal promise with him, he has a great character and personality, and he is able to connect with me deeply. We are much happier and more stable when we are together, so we decided to get married and live for each other.

With the sudden wedding announcement, I was not able to even tell those around me. I was worried that it would interfere with my drama, and I was worried that it would cause a disturbance to the family who will be welcoming me. Please understand and I hope you will still be willing to give your congratulations.

I will become a bride who can take care of him, always make him happy and lucky. We will be a couple who can share with each other and experience good things.

Please watch over us with love.

Jeon Hye-bin began her career in showbiz as a singer in 2002, becoming a member of the short-lived three-member girl group called LUV, which was disbanded after just six months due to their lack of popularity. After that, she released her first solo album titled Love Somebody and then ventured into acting through popular K-drama Sang Doo! Let’s Go to School in 2003 — starring K-pop superstar Rain — and a horror film titled Dead Friend in 2004.

Jeon Hye-bin found mainstream success in 2005 thanks to her second album, In My Fantasy, after the release of which she decided to focus on her acting career instead. She has starred in various K-dramas such as Insu, The Queen Mother (2011), Gunman in Joseon (2014), Another Oh Hae-young (2016), Life on Mars (2018), Liver or Die (2019), with the most recent one being Leverage, the remake of an American TV series of the same title.
