CANGGU: Jump in the pool at Panama’s backyard BBQ
Take a dip in their pool and fill up on chicken, beef, pork, fish, whatever you heart’s desire at the all-you-can-eat weekend BBQ at Berawa’s Panama Pool & Kitchen. Health nuts, not to fear, there are also veggie skewers and other sides. Music will be playing and make sure not to miss the happy hour on gin, vodka, and rum until 8pm.

UBUD: Join the French cinema club
Catch a French flick at Paradiso Ubud’s new monthly Ciné-Club France which will feature a selection of original French films (relax, with English subtitles). Falling on the 10th of every month, the Oscar-nominated L’homme de Rio (The Man from Rio) will be playing at 5pm. Following that will be an 8pm showing of Ascenseur pour L’échafaud (Elevator to the Gallows), a 1958 crime thriller. Entree is free with a minimum purchase of IDR50k from their menu, which comes from one of our favorite healthy cafes in Bali!

SEMINYAK: Indulge in some pasta (and vino) and get entranced by a photography exhibition

Seminyak Italian restaurant, Zibiru has extended their exhibit for photographer Tomomi by another month. Showcasing works from across Indonesia, a strong sense of reality in a timeless way can be picked up in Tomomi’s captivating photographs.

UBUD: Play with the monkeys and enjoy an art exhibition
Art Exhibition “Under the Sun”
Did you know the Ubud Monkey Forest does exhibitions? Now at the Monkey Forest Ubud Exhibition Hall: a month-long arty showing by young Balinese artist I Wayan Januariawan. “Under the Sun” will, as its name suggests, describe lovely, natural scenery, under the sun. So, grab some bananas, hide away all your valuables (so the monkeys can’t snatch them) and bask in all the beautiful art.

CANGGU: Hop hop night out in the Gu
Grab your skateboard and prepare for some epic mic drops at Canggu skate bowl and bar Konkrete. A full lineup of events is prepared including a live DJ, open cypher, rap performances, open mic and freestyle rap, along with a beatbox performance. By the end of the night, you won’t be able to tell if you’re in the Gu or an extra in 8 Mile 😉
