Dance and music ensembles are preparing to open the 38th Bali Arts Week for VIP guest President Jokowi.
Hundreds of students rehearsed at Denpasar’s iconic Bajra Sandhi monument in front of the stage on Friday morning, getting ready for their big parade that’ll go down tomorrow.
The month-long Bali Arts Festival will run until July 9 and will feature the best of Balinese performing arts from across the island’s different regencies, as well as exhibitions and performances from other Indonesian islands. This year’s main theme is “Karang Awak: Cherishing the Home Island.”
