Perhaps it’s the beautiful scenery. Or perhaps it’s the idyllic villas and resorts. Perhaps people want to get their Eat, Love, Pray moments. One thing’s for sure: Bali is definitely among the top destinations for honeymoon seekers – at least on TikTok.
UK travel company Kuoni named the Island of Gods amongst its list of trending honeymoon destinations on TikTok. Bali, according to Kuoni, placed third on the list with “videos of Indonesian island’s natural delights racking up over 2.3 million views.”
“Bali is a popular post wedding destination for many couples, where they’re able to experience a whole range of landscapes from vibrant forests to breath-taking beaches,” the company’s website says.
Bali placed just behind Maldives and Italy but remains on top among fellow Southeast Asian destinations, with Malaysia and Thailand placing sixth and twelfth respectively.
In total, Kuoni listed 20 trending honeymoon destinations, with Greece, Costa Rica, Belize, and Jamaica among top destinations for newlyweds.
