Ubud’s Night Rooster cocktail bar makes post-pandemic return

Emerging from a temporary closure during the COVID-19 pandemic, Night Rooster Cocktail Bar, a brainchild of acclaimed chefs Eelke Plasmeijer and Ray Adriansyah from the Locavore Group, has rekindled its vibrant presence in the heart of Ubud. 

This resurgence not only signifies a return to its beloved patrons, but also embodies a testament to resilience and adaptability in the face of unprecedented challenges.

Chef Eelke said in a statement sent to Coconuts Bali that the closure provided an opportunity for introspection and reinvention. 

The team behind Night Rooster utilized this period to refine their vision, honing it into an even more immersive and captivating experience for their guests. The result is a Night Rooster that not only reclaims its position as a cornerstone of Bali’s nightlife scene but also evolves it, elevating the standards of excellence set by the Locavore Group.

Nestled on Jl. Goutama, guests can expect an enchanting ambiance, tantalizing offerings, and an exquisite menu featuring 10 signature cocktails, each with its own concept and folklore tale.

Additionally, Saturdays bring a special treat with “Skewed Tastes,” a weekly ritual featuring skewered delights cooked over an open flame, providing a tantalizing glimpse into Night Rooster’s culinary artistry. 

With its return, Night Rooster not only rekindles the nightlife of Ubud but also reaffirms its status as an integral part of Bali’s culinary scene.
