The Madawa, an establishment inspired by the Indian epic Mahabharata, has opened its doors to patrons seeking a unique and sophisticated dining experience in Nusa Dua, Bali.

The interior of The Madawa is handcrafted by talented Balinese artisans, with every corner telling a story that transports visitors to another era. The attention to detail in both the design and food and beverage selections is a nod to the classic tale.

Fully operational since January this year, The Madawa offers patrons a range of dining options, from delectable appetizers to opulent main courses and copious platters to share.

Visitors can elect to sit in various areas, including the mezzanine, the tropical garden, the VIP Lounge, the Wine Cellar, the Main Hall, the Teppan table, or the Intimate Club.

The establishment aims to cater to visitors’ needs and provide an entertaining experience that keeps them enthralled throughout their visit.

The menu features Asian-Indonesian fusion dishes, with Japanese teppanyaki delicacies cooked right in front of visitors’ eyes as the sun sets.

The Wine Lounge offers a large variety of fine wines produced from all around the world. In addition, visitors can relax in the cozy setting of the hidden library, which is decorated with intricate wood carvings and sandstone walls and can accommodate up to 10 people.

The Dice Bar is a must-visit spot for visitors, telling the story of the Pandavas brothers’ fateful gambling match through traditional Balinese painting and elaborate carvings. Visitors can sip on narrative-driven cocktails that capture key moments from the brothers’ adventures.

The Intimate Club is an underground sanctuary that doubles as a karaoke den and cigar lounge during the day, while it transforms into a world-class nightclub after dark. DJs entertain guests on the dancefloor or in small, leather-clad nooks.

The Madawa is part of the Taman Dharmawangsa Suites complex, which offers 32 exquisite villas for individuals seeking to unwind and detox in an idyllic setting. The establishment aspires to provide an unforgettable experience to its visitors, with its unique and sophisticated atmosphere combined with the beautiful surroundings of Bali.
