Grab the family and spend the day in Sanur for some quality time. There will be over 40 bazaar stalls selling a variety of goodies like food and drinks, accessories, and clothing. Perfect for the children since a kid’s corner will have activities, crafts, a bouncy castle, board games, and loads of game competitions. Adults can appreciate cocktails at the outdoor movie, Ponyo, while there will also be a DJ later on.

2. NUSA DUA: Wine and cheese it up
This one’s for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Velada Tapas Bar & Kitchen at the ritzy Westin, Nusa Dua is catering an evening towards wine lovers. Signature cheese and wine pairings will be guided by Marie Fabreguettes, Old World Wines Manager of PAN Jakarta. The wine and cheese tasting and pairing along with tapas comes at a cost: Rp 390,000 net/person. But that’s really not that bad considering how much just an ok bottle of wine would set you back in Bali. Jazz and salsa will be on.

3. SANUR: Support local Bali rockabilly band and catch their documentary
Bali’s own Rockabilly band, The Hydrant, went to Las Vegas earlier this year for the genre’s biggest festival. An hour-long documentary of their rock ’n roll trip to the good ‘ol USA was put together and will be screened at Rumah Sanur. Show your support for this awesome, swingin band (or just go to drool over their hotness).

4. KUTA: Pool party at Double Six
Cocoon Beach Club is celebrating its sixth birthday and you can bet it won’t be a tame affair. Along with resident DJs and entertainers, Cocoon’s Blue Party also has headlining DJs Heavy Pins of Greece and Ahmet Kilic of Turkey (now how’s that for some diplomacy efforts 😉 ).
