CANGGU: Creatives unite

Artists and creative types, get some of your favorite works together and gather with like minds in Canggu. The super homey Nest cafe is having a get-together for painters, filmmakers, photogs, writers, and any other creators and people passionate about art to connect and get to know the community better. Canggu is Bali’s hippest spot, after all, so we can only expect some pretty interesting stuff at this gathering.

UBUD: Learn more about the amazing Bali heritage dog

It doesn’t take much time in Bali to realize the island’s dog stray population is booming. But Bali dogs aren’t just any old mutts. In cooperation with BAWA, University of California Davis Professor Benjamin Sacks will be sitting down at Arma in Ubud to discuss what makes the Bali dog so unique and important and what we can learn from genetic studies. Sacks is the director of Mammalian Ecology and Conservation Unit in the Center for Veterinary Genetics at UC Davis.

UBUD: Get your raw food game up to snuff
