An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude reportedly rocked Klungkung, East Bali on Thursday afternoon.
Local newspaper Tribun Bali confirmed the quake with the Center of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) Region III Denpasar.
The earthquake, a 5.3 on the richter scale, occurred approximately at 1:05 pm local time.
According to BMKG, the earthquake did not have tsunami potential, so there’s no need to panic. Phew.
