Waterbom Bali, a renowned waterpark in Kuta, has added a significant 1.3 hectares to its premises, introducing the Oasis Gardens. This expansion includes a lagoon pool, sunken pool bar, tropical garden areas, and four new slides.

According to the company’s statement as sent to Coconuts Bali, the new slides offer unique experiences.

The Tailspin features a spiral ride through a tube, propelling riders upwards for heightened views. The Drop is an inner tube ride from a 17-meter height, concluding in an 8-meter free fall. The Boomerang, a crowd favorite, now offers a more thrilling experience, launching riders into a 9.2-meter vertical drop before a wall ride.

All slides can be experienced solo or with a companion.

A 20-meter-tall slide tower provides access to the slides, along with a viewing platform. A relaxation zone with sunbeds, gazebos, a spa, massage area, and a sunken pool bar offers a serene retreat.

The Oasis Gardens area was designed collaboratively, working around existing trees. Six signature native trees were added, and over 1,000 tropical plants were sourced for biodiversity.

Waterbom has been working on sustainability initiatives since 2017, including energy-efficient pumps, solar panels, and a rainwater harvesting system. The park now spans over 5 hectares.

A new family and kid’s area is planned for opening in 2024.
