President Thein Sein’s bodyguard dies in Bangkok

The chief bodyguard to President Thein Sein has died in Bangkok, reportedly after complaining of stomach aches.

Aung Tun Tun Lwin, aged 54, died at around 9pm on Tuesday night, according to Myanmar-language news outlet 7Days Daily.

The cause of death was not immediately clear.
