There are more than 2,000 unauthorized buildings in Yangon, according to the engineering department at the Yangon City Development Committee.
A little more than half of the buildings constructed without proper permits or authorization are in northern Yangon, while the rest are in the east, Xinhua Myanmar reported.
The YCDC is vowing to take action, but let’s face it, that’s a lot of effin’ buildings.
