Ya Kun Coffee just opened at Yangon international airport

In the latest sign of frenzied change at Yangon’s international airport, Singaporean brand Ya Kun Coffee has opened an outlet.

That means kaya toast for breakfast. YUM.

Ya Kun is the first international restaurant to set up at the airport, which is undergoing renovations as the country aims to attract 4.5 million tourists this year.

As Myanmore reported breathlessly: “From only having a small cafe with terrible coffee, sandwiches and cakes, the airport now offers an international standard cafe.”

To be fair on old Espace café, they do serve a decent, if pricey, Mohingya.
