Woman stabbed, robbed by Yangon’s City Hall

Police say a 25-year-old woman was stabbed and robbed of her phone at night on Monday.

The victim was just going out to get something to eat, the Voice reported.

“The woman was also grabbing her phone back from him,” a police officer was quoted as saying. “Then she was shouting to ask for help and he stabbed her again, grabbed her phone and ran away. He is still at large.”

Luckily, the woman was not severely injured and is being treated at Yangon General Hospital.
