Where to watch the Clinton, Trump debate without worrying about streaming it over the internet in Yangon

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are facing off in the first US presidential debate next week, and the good news is that you can watch the two tangle right here in Yangon.

Well, a day late, but still!

50th street bar is showing the showdown on Tuesday night (September 27) after recording the debate, which airs on Monday night in the US.

According to their Facebook page, the screening starts at 7pm and the event is open to everyone and is free (though you might want to buy a few beers once you start thinking about the possibility of a Trump presidency).

Just saying.

UPDATED: Also for US citizens, some important info. Democrats Abroad is organizing the debate viewing party, which means you can get information about voting at the event and even register if you aren’t already.
