Planning a public proposal? We doubt you can top this brave dude in Myanmar who enlisted the help of a dance flash mob to pop the question to his girlfriend in Yangon’s Mahabandoola Park.
Zwe Htet, a wedding photographer, even learned the dance routine to Bruno Mars’ Marry You to take part in the high-risk proposal to Thae Su, his partner of 5 years.
The six-minute video, shot on November 29 and posted to Facebook on New Year’s Day, quickly went viral and has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
“My special thanks go to every friends who helped for this,” wrote Zwe Htet. “During our 5 years of relationship, she was happy, sad and cried for me. I promise that since today even if she has to cry, the reason will be happiness.”
Spoiler alert: she cries. And, if you’re anything like as emotionally vulnerable as us after the holidays, you might too.
