WATCH: British guy behind Yangon’s first top-notch skatepark gives TV interview in Burmese

Ali Drummond, the British skater who helped secure permission to build Yangon’s first all-around skatepark, is a man of many talents.

First, he can skate. Secondly, he has powers of persuasion: he got the Yangon City Development Committee to agree to a skatepark for crying out loud!

But in an interview with local media this week, Drummond, who works with global non-profit Make Life Skate Life, revealed another talent: speaking Burmese.

In a popular video on Kamaryut Media, Drummond fields questions about the project. The video has been viewed more than 100,000 times and continues to be shared widely.

Check it out.
