Applications are open for Miss Myanmar International 2015, planned for August.
The winner will compete for the title of Miss International in Tokyo in November, the Myanmar Times reported.
Entrants must be between 18 and 25. They must also have basic English skills and knowledge of tourism.
You also have to be single. Why? “Usually, it’s just a rule,” Sandi, one of the organisers, told us.
Since a half-century-long ban came to an end in 2012, beauty pageants have been wholeheartedly embraced in Myanmar.
The country hosts several each year including Miss World Myanmar, Miss Golden Land Myanmar and Miss Myanmar International.
