Two men have been detained in Yangon in connection with the discovery of dozens of bullets in packaging at a trash site on Anawratha road near Yangon’s Junction Mawtin on Tuesday, 7Day reported.
Authorities say the suspects are being questioned.
“In the box were bullets, two old helmets, an old iron, a signboard and flashlights,” an unnamed official from the quarter was quoted as saying. He added that in total there were more than 200 bullets.
There was little more information about the arrests, and 7Day was unable to reach Lanmadaw police officers.
We will update this post when more information becomes available.
